Biography
Tao (Todd) Jiang is a Principal Reservoir Engineer at the EERC, where he leads a team of reservoir engineers and manages projects focused on conventional and unconventional oil and gas production, enhanced oil recovery (EOR), geological CO2 storage, and the development of commercial carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) programs.
Mr. Jiang's responsibilities include providing oversight for research focused on developing geologic models of the subsurface and conducting predictive dynamic simulations to evaluate EOR performance in both conventional and unconventional oil fields, assessing the long-term fate of CO2 sequestration and brine disposal, as well as analyzing field injection and production performance to support field development planning.
Reservoir and wellbore modeling and simulation, solvent- and CO2-assisted enhanced oil recovery technology development for conventional and unconventional reservoirs, field operation implementation and optimization, pressure and rate transient analysis, reservoir characterization, carbon capture and sequestration.
